The sequel will be focused on the eventual karmic-demise of Joe Fox as Amazon.com eats Fox Book’s lunch and pushes them into Chapter 11. Sadly, poor “shopgirl” continues a lifetime of victimhood as she is married to Joe F-O-X. And the hero - the one who you would never think went on to live a life both fulfilling as it is funny - the Patricia Eden (Parker Posey) character. Portrayed as a bit of a “hot mess” in the first chapter, she ends up having a life that is hilarious and successful, eventually rolling a publishing empire into ownership of AOL after inheriting Nelson Fox’s remaining fortune (yes, Dabney Coleman’s character does end up finding her interesting) and divesting her interest in the bookstore business.
