Before I arrived at the piece of glitch art I wanted to use for the We’ve Got Mail event, I created 200 or so images; eight of which appear above. Three of these images are purely text-editor databending, and the other five are blends of normal and glitched images made in Photoshop.

Then the chains themselves were gobbled up or driven under, as consumers turned to the Web. B. Dalton Bookseller and Crown Books are long gone. Borders collapsed last year.”
